What I’m working on. As always, I have several WIPs (works-in-progress) on the go. I find that I get bored when I concentrate solely on one project, so I tend to jump around. Plus my arm/wrist get sore with repetitive movement, so I try to switch between crochet/tunisian crochet/knitting.
I did manage, however, to get the knitted sweater for my sister done before I saw her in April (photo below of Lazy Saturday Sweater’.
In addition, I finished the Solace Skirt…a fairly easy crochet project using cotton dishcloth yarn I’d had around for a while–embellished with variegated cotton yarn (photo below).
I also made a few cotton mesh bags (see photos) in various sizes. Loved making these because they come together quickly and provide quick gratification, plus I can use up my copious amounts of cotton dishcloth yarn.
What else…I’m almost done with my Stagecoach Vest (see photos)…a western-themed vest perfect for music festivals and…well…any event where you want to project a western vibe. Just need to work on the final deets re cross-stitch-like decorations on the front of the vest.
Also…my latest WIPs consist of:
Deux Sweater – reversible two – color oversized fisherman’s rib sweater (getting ready for fall-winter)
Dishie Shorts – Sedona – cotton dishcloth yarn shorts with pockets
