This is a thrift-store (or old hand towel) makeover project.
Find a hand towel that you like–either in your home stash or at your local thrift store, and transform it from ho-hum to fun for a kitchen decor tie-in to thanksgiving.
Easy and quick for even beginner crocheters, this towel makeover project will give you a quirky kitchen hand towel for pennies, and will also help use up your stash of yarn leftovers.
No special equipment is required…just a needle, thread, some scissors, and a crochet hook. (I used a 3.5 mm crochet hook with my worsted weight–#4–yarn.) You will also need a few metres of yarn (worsted #4 weight recommended).
Instructions include videos, supply list, graphic pattern, downloadable pdfs, and tips.
